Safety & Security (aka, just a few reasons InstaSnap is better):
★ Photo’s only stay on the server until the other person has viewed them (this is so people who are offline can see their pix later), then they’re deleted forever!

We liked Snapchat (and now Facebook has jumped on the bandwagon with Facebook Poke) but both allowed the receiver to take a screenshot. So really, your photos weren't safe from unwanted eyes seeing them, or if the phone was ever stolen.
We solved that problem by not allowing a user to take a screenshot while using InstaSnap. Photos also “self-destruct” (which means they’re not saved on the server or your friends phone) after they have been viewed. So there’s no way for your personal, goofy or sexy private-photo-messages to be saved by anyone else!
"How to Use" and a few important tech things:
✓ Start the app
✓ Tap the “Book” icon in the top right corner
✓ Your phone book contacts will show - tap your friend you want to add
✓ If they are already using InstaSnap, just add them
✓ If they are not on InstaSnap, you’ll be prompted to send them an SMS so they can download the app (don’t forget to tell them too when you see them!)
✓ Tap your friends name and send them a photo!
✓ InstaSnap only works on devices that have a phone number and NOT TABLETS.
✓ You and your friends must all use InstaSnap to send and view pix. This is for your safety and security, since this is the only way to make sure no screen capture is taken. But it’s not a big deal since InstaSnap is free – just send a text via the app to your few friends that aren’t using InstaSnap yet and they’ll get a download link.
✓ INSTASNAP ONLY WORKS WITH INSTASNAP and not other photo sharing apps, like Snapchat or Facebook Poke!
